We have all come to rely on Microsoft products to give us the usability and interoperability that we demand from ICT systems today.
Hence a British Computer Society Information Security Specialist Group (BCS-ISSG) one-day ICT Security Seminar on Wednesday, 30 November at Microsoft HQ, Thames Valley Park.
The BCS ISSG says that it strongly approves of the increased importance that Microsoft has attached to security issues over recent years. However there is much more to be done, the group adds, and we need to develop a better understanding of the rationale behind Microsoftโs thinking.
The day gives an opportunity to hear from Ed Gibson Chief Security Advisor at Microsoft and other senior staff. Gibson was the FBIโs Assistant Legal Attaché in the UK.
