Kalamazoo Security Print has launched Badge N Track, a card-base solution that combines security with presence recording.
Kalamazoo Security Print’s Badge N Track is a way of monitoring the movement of card-holders who pass a single or multiple points. It allows an organisation to know who is on their site, how long for, and which part of the site they visit, and why. Those people whose presence needs to be recorded are issued with a photo ID card produced on Kalamazoo?s Instant ID Plus application software. The card includes a bar code or magnetic stripe, which when passed through a reader logs the bearer in and out. Badge N Track date and time stamps all movements, keeping a log (essential in evacuations) and allowing report to be run. The product can verify ID as people enter a building. As the card is read, the person?s image and details appear on a PC; the product can be set to bleep security staff of a card it cannot recognise. See www.ksp.co.uk.
