Lone worker protection service company Skyguard is launching a subscription only emergency response service, for £17.75 per month.

A choice of GPS enabled devices are included, which clients can use to connect to Skyguard’s response service using a purpose built, 24/7 incident management centre. A mobile phone software download option is also available for clients who do not wish to carry a dedicated device, for only £12 per month.

David Ince, Chief Executive of Skyguard, says: “At Skyguard we know that when a customer presses a button to request help, that moment is critical to them. We have therefore used all our resources to ensure that the service we offer at that moment is the best in the industry: people’s lives depend on it. With our subscription pricing, customers can benefit from our unrivalled service for a minimal monthly fee and no capital outlay.”

About Skyguard Technologies Limited

Based in Surrey, Skyguard was established in 2000. Three years’ market research and technology design (to source the right devices and develop the software) was followed by over £3 million invested in setting-up the service infrastructure. Field trials with the police and other organisations followed in 2006. The result is Skyguard’s 24 hour monitoring and response service which deals with life threatening incidents. The company’s staff have experience of mobile tracking, security, lone worker and risk management issues, including Skyguard’s own technology and software expertise developed in Britain. The company is chaired by Lord Dear, former Chief Constable of the West Midlands Police.
