ATG Access are showcasing their access control and vehicle security technology at the Securex 2002 exhibition from October 22 to 24 on stand B32. The manufacturers are launching the retractable Millennium bollard in Permacast, and developments in stainless steel static, lift-assisted and retractable units. Also featured is the domestic electro-mechanical version of the A T Genie, designed to provide protection for private homes. Automatic traffic management systems firm ATG Access will present a range of bollards so that visitors can see for themselves the choice of options for urban environments. The Permacast range has a finish that can be custom-designed to suit the location, the makers report. The range requires no painting, preservatives or regular maintenance, ATG say. The A T Genie VP100, VP200 & VP700 robust telescopic bollards will be ready to ?test drive? at Securex. Visible to oncoming traffic, yet able to blend into the street scene, according to ATG, they are able to survive severe impacts and retain operation. Remotely activated or used with intelligent authorisation systems, the A T Genie automated bollard range allows control of access, whether for pedestrianisation, security or traffic priority schemes.
