Kings Secure Technologies (KST) reports it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the Luton-based supplier of fire safety, smoke ventilation and security technology, Silver (UK) Ltd, that trades as Silver Group.

Bob Forsyth, Chief Executive Officer of Bradford-based Kings, pictured, said: “KST has been a leader in the fire and security sector for over 50 years – our proposed acquisition of Silver Group will further expand this position. This combination has tremendous benefits for both companies, our customers, and the industry. Our exciting plans for the future will give us the capacity to compete in the innovative world of Fire & Security solutions at pace and scale.โ€

Silver Group will remain based in Luton, with Mario Vaianella as Business Lead. Mario said: โ€œWe look forward to building even better services in the future for our customers, with the backing of Kingsโ€™ resources and reach. Moving forward, we expect to combine our core strengths with Kingsโ€™ deep industry expertise in verticals like financial services, utilities, public sector and data centres. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Sergio De Michele for the fantastic business that he has built over the last 15 years and to wish him every success for the future.โ€
