Scaffold alarm code Q&A

by Mark Rowe

The NSI (National Security Inspectorate) reports that its NACOSS Gold/Systems Silver extension of scope; Scaffolding Alarm Systems scheme is still gaining interest; particularly from insurers who are starting to specify NSI Code of Practice NCP115.

The Inspectorate is holding its first interactive Question and Answer session via Twitter: The session on June 26, at 1pm and is aimed at giving an insight to the NSI’s Scaffolding Alarm Systems scheme.

Regardless of whether a building is domestic or commercial, vacant or occupied, NCP 115 provides the consumer with the reassurance the security of their property, and the assets within, are given due and appropriate consideration during periods of renovation, maintenance and repair.

The NSI says that its Question and Answer session will give an opportunity to learn more about the scheme, with questions being answered by our External Affairs Director, Chris Pinder and Campaign Sales Executive, Sean Mullin. If interested in participating – tweet your questions, before June 26, to @NSI_Approved or send an email to [email protected]

The NSI adds that it’s also considering holding a coffee morning to discuss the scheme.
