2MP ANPR camera

by Mark Rowe

IDS present the new GeoVision LPC2210, pictured. That’s a 2 megapixel colour automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) camera. This IP camera is designed to recognise reflective license plate numbers on vehicles travelling at up to 75mph.

The product features multiple high-power LEDs and built-in infra-red (IR) to provide an image of number plates, suitable the firm says for two lane road layouts, even under low-light conditions at a maximum IR distance of 20m. The varifocal lens uses its motorised focus and zoom (2.5X optical zoom), allowing the user to remotely adjust the focus through a web interface.

The camera is weather proof (IP67) and can work in sites where temperatures range from minus 40 degrees C (40 degrees F) to 50 degrees C (122 degrees F).

For more information on this camera ring one of the firm’s business development consultants on 020 8819 1044. Visit: www.idsgroup.uk.com.
