Oculus added

The distributor Norbain is adding Silent Sentinel to its security equipment suppliers. Norbain’s Technical Director Andrew Pigram says: “Silent Sentinel is an UK manufacturer of ruggedised, high performance camera systems and advanced camera positioning systems. Offering a wide range of optical and thermal PTZ imaging with white or IR lighting systems, Silent Sentinel offer advanced technologies for the most challenging environments and security surveillance needs.”

Silent Sentinel was established in 2002 to design, manufacture and supply surveillance and security products. The engineering house only make their products in the UK, and there are more than 10,000 units already in the market.

The company specialises in rugged domes, 360 degree continuous rotation PTZ positioning systems and numerous specialist bespoke builds as an OEM supplier to a number of international brands. The Oculus high-speed ruggedised PTZ cameras, pictured, have been installed at for example Thames Valley police, Smart Cars and Hartlepool Marina.
