RIVA´s Full HD Speed Dome IP camera is for indoor and outdoor applications, say the makers ViDiCore GmbH. The camera offers H.264 compression and achieves a frame rate of up to 30 fps at 1080p resolution. The 360 degree endless rotation domes RC4202 and 4602HD come with intelligent onboard video analytics, powered by VCA Technology, as standard and can be upgraded with more filters. The PTZ dome’s 20x optical and 8x digital zoom controls pan/tilt speed while zooming. For silent working, the product has a Stealth Spin feature. The dome allows 255 preset positions, 8 programmable patterns and eight privacy zones. It offers two-way audio, wide dynamic range, four digital inputs and two digital outputs, and supports the ONVIF protocol to work with compatible network products. A mechanical infra-red (IR) cut filter makes the HD dome suitable it is claimed for day-night use with capability to expose the camera scene with IR light during night mode. With an outdoor housing including fan and heater, the PTZ dome is suitable the makers say for outdoor use at operating temperatures between minus 40 and plus 50 degrees C.
