USA opening

by Mark Rowe

The British manufacturer Wavestore has opened an office in the USA.

Wavestore USA, based in Mangonia Park, Florida, will provide pre and post sales support for installer and system integrators in North America, and local manufacturing facilities.

Chris Williams, Director of Wavestore, said: “Our reputation for providing robust, reliable and cost effective video management solutions has spread far and wide, but particularly so in North America where we have recently enjoyed significant sales success. The timing could therefore not be better for us to demonstrate our commitment to a strategically important region by opening this new office. It will provide a base for a nationwide team of security sales professionals who have been equipped to provide support for the full range of Wavestore recording and video management solutions.”

“We understand how important it is that our customers are presented with professional systems that deliver functionality without complexity,” said Mario Popu who has been appointed, General Manager, Wavestore USA. “We will therefore listen to our clients’ unique requirements, analyse their specific applications and work together to develop a solution that will deliver the best performance for their needs. We develop, test and manufacture all our products, so we are uniquely positioned to offer excellent technical support and ensure a high standard of customer service.”

Wavestore’s Video Management Software (VMS) has been used also in countries such as Australia, Bermuda, Brazil, Canada, Cyprus, Kuwait and Spain, from small standalone systems, up to large distributed server networks with thousands of cameras and detectors. The M6 Toll road in the West Midlands, a user of Wavestore products, was featured in the January 2013 print issue of Professional Security magazine.

Chris Williams said: “Despite the prevailing economic climate, we are confident about the prospect for sales success during 2013. With the loyal support of our network of installers and system integrators on both sides of the Atlantic, we believe that the open platform philosophy behind our competitively priced ONVIF compliant Linux based video recording and management solutions, places Wavestore in a very strong position to compete for virtually any video surveillance project.”

About Wavestore:

Wavestore is an ONVIF compliant Linux based video recording and management system, able to simultaneously record images captured by combinations of analogue, IP, megapixel, HD, HDcctv and 360 degree cameras.
