Development director

by Mark Rowe

The guarding firm Amulet has appointed Edward Holmes as its new development director. Holmes, pictured, brings more than 30 years of working in the security industry, where he has worked for a range of specialists and national firms. He will be responsible for business growth and client liaison, focusing specifically on London and its West End, besides the day-to-day management of the sales process.

He has held commercial director roles within the security sector, where he was instrumental in designing and delivering on sales processes, generating millions of pounds per annum. Amulet gained a contract with the Bank of England this year, and Holmes will look to expand and cement the company’s footprint in banking, finance and corporate, the firm adds.

Edward Holmes said: “Amulet has a fantastic reputation in the industry, and I’m excited to build on that by opening new doors in London and the West End. This role is all about connections – with people, businesses and communities – and I look forward to bringing my experience to support Amulet’s growth while learning from the exceptional teams already in place.”

And Kieran Mackie, managing director at Amulet, said: “Edward’s appointment marks a step change in our growth ambitions for London. He combines deep industry knowledge with a personal drive that aligns perfectly with our values. We’re excited to see how his fresh perspective and client-first approach will help shape Amulet’s future in one of our most important regions.”
