ID card printer distributor

by Mark Rowe

Digital ID, the Stockport based Identification Card company has teamed up with the ID card printer manufacturer Magicard to become a ‘master distributor’ of the Magicard printer range.

Digital ID, launched in 1990, reports 2015 UK trading results which saw the business achieve turnover in excess of £10m for the first time. Sales grew 22 per cent over the last 12 months, the fourth consecutive year that the business has seen growth of over 20pc. With the new partnership in place, sales of Magicard printers are expected to treble over the next 12 months, the firm says.

Jonathan Fell, Managing Director of Digital ID, pictured, said: “The new partnership is a great achievement for the business and recognition of the growth, product innovation and hard work by our fantastic team. Our printer sales figures have grown rapidly year on year and now make up 12.7pc of our overall turnover. We are excited to be working closely with the Magicard team and their new products. I would also like to thank Phil Reynolds for his hard work in pulling the deal together.”

The Magicard Helix printer is available within the UK from April 4. The Helix is the first printer of its kind to offer an interactive touch-screen interface. To view the complete Magicard Printer range visit the Digital ID website here.
