Among the exhibitors at Asis Europe 2025, the annual show by the ASIS international association for security managers – this year at Convention Centre Dublin – was Vismo. The software developers showed their app-based solutions for risk management, employee tracking, monitoring and mass notification, whether for standalone emergency response, travel security or lone worker safety.
The app, Vismo Locate & Protect, works with smartphones and tablets – and satellite devices where network signals are weak or out of range. For the first time, Vismo showed its satellite-based Garmin inReach Messenger offering, after adding the device to its range of satellite focused services in January. Colin Dale, Director of Global Sales, Vismo, says: “The Garmin inReach Messenger bundle includes our full employee security suite, which works seamlessly with the device and echoes the theme of this year’s conference – ‘From risk to resilience’. And like all our satellite packages, the device comes with the most appropriate, and competitive, airtime plans.”
Also at the booth was the ACR Bivy Stick, which uses satellite technology and Vismo’s location tech for employee safety use. Dale adds: “Vismo helps organisation stay ahead of emerging threats. We discussed best practices in risk mitigation, crisis response and how real-time mass notification tools can strengthen duty of care for our customer’s employees worldwide.”
Employee protection
