DVTEL reports

by Mark Rowe

DVTEL, the US-based security product manufacturer, announced a substantial increase in revenues year over year. It saw particular growth in the municipal surveillance, corrections, education and healthcaremarkets, and saw an increase in opportunity in the small- to medium-sized business market with the introduction of the Meridian NVR.

New technology included TruWitness, a mobile video application that turns mobile smartphones into IP video cameras. DVTEL complies with ONVIF specifications and collaborates with other manufacturers including Exacq Technologies, which is the first VMS provider to integrate with the DVTEL Quasar broadcast-quality camera line, pictured. This year, it plans release its new version of the Latitude VMS in the second quarter, a bundled VMS solution for the mid-market and introduce a number of new edge devices, including adds to the ioimage analytic line.

In March, the company will launch a new website that will feature information and support as well as a new DVTEL blog.

“DVTEL is moving into the next evolution of its business,” said Yoav Stern, President and CEO, DVTEL. “Now more than ever, we’re excited to be offering an open, scalable product line that gives integrators unprecedented flexibility and choice. With a banner 2012 behind us, we’re looking ahead to another year of growth, innovation and cutting-edge technical advancements.”
