The IP video product manufacturer IndigoVision, has an integration partnership with Ipsotek. The firms say this will offer end users a complete solution specific to their needs by incorporating Ipsotekโs video analytics product, VISuite with IndigoVisionโs security management product, SMS4.
VISuite, receives video streamed from SMS4 and identifies pre-defined events and behaviour using patented Scenario Based Detection (SBD) rule engine. SBD allows multiple behaviour detections to be applied at the same time, or in pre-defined sequences. This can provide details of behaviour which can it is claimed reduce false alarms.
Video is analysed by Ipsotekโs hardware and software and once the pre-configured behaviours are detected, linked alarms are automatically raised in Control Center, the client interface to SMS4. According to the firms, the applications can include: perimeter protection, intrusion detection, traffic management, crowd management, business intelligence, and advanced people and vehicle tracking.
