Sales Manager – South (Access Control & Security Solutions) Overview Our client is a well-established manufacturer within the electronic security sector, with a long-standing reputation for developing innovative access control and integrated security solutions. Their products are widely deployed across commercial, critical infrastructure, public sector and high-security environments throughout the UK and internationally. Due to continued growth and investment, they are looking to appoint a Sales Manager to support the expansion of their access control and perimeter security solutions across the Southern region. The Role Reporting to the Sales Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth through established security distribution channels, developing relationships with security installers, consultants, systems integrators and end users, and identifying new business opportunities within the territory. Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales and increase market penetration across the designated territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with security installers, integrators, consultants and end users.
  • Develop and manage opportunities through the security distribution network.
  • Review and support responses to tenders and major project opportunities.
  • Work closely with internal sales and technical teams to develop compliant solutions and quotations.
  • Maintain accurate customer and opportunity records within the CRM system.
  • Deliver product presentations, demonstrations and training where required.
  • Identify and develop opportunities within critical infrastructure, high-security and enterprise environments.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and represent the business professionally at all times.
  • Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets.

 Candidate Requirements Essential

  • Proven experience in a field-based B2B sales role.
  • Experience within the electronic security industry.
  • Knowledge of access control systems and integrated security solutions.
  • Experience responding to tenders and project specifications.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Good IT skills, including CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive and professional approach.
  • Full UK driving licence.

 Desirable

  • Experience selling hardware and software-based security solutions.
  • Understanding of networking and IP infrastructure.
  • Existing relationships within the security installer and consultant community.
  • Experience working within high-security, critical infrastructure or government environments.
  • Security clearance or eligibility to obtain clearance.

Package

  • £50,000 – £55,000 basic salary (DOE)
  • Uncapped commission structure (OTE circa 30% on top of base salary).
  • Company car or £700 per month car allowance.
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.

 Additional Information Hybrid working model.Regular travel throughout the territory with occasional overnight stays.Medium activity focused through distribution partners, with a strong emphasis on installer engagement and relationship development.Candidates located within the Midlands, South or surrounding areas will be considered.
