After the inaugural Baroness Ruth Henig Scholarship in 2024, The Security Institute is launching the first round of applications for 2025. Their aim; to support the next generation of security professionals by providing opportunities for development, networking, and career advancement.
The Institute in the name of the former chair of the Security Industry Authority, Labour politician and president of the Institute, who died a year ago, seeks to identify and empower emerging talent, equipping recipients with the skills and connections they need to thrive in the security sector. Simon Hepburn, CEO of the Institute, said: “The overwhelming response to last year’s scholarship made one thing clear — there is a wealth of talent in the security sector, ready to be supported and elevated. This programme is not just about recognising potential, but about actively investing in the future of our industry.”
Applications close on Monday, March 10 at 9am; link here to the form.
