The CCTV distributor Videcon has announced the addition of two new cameras to its AIR range (Advanced Infra Red). Two new 650TV lines cameras with Effio chipset are now the highest resolution cameras in the range.
Sales Director Andy Croston says: "We’ve been delighted with the response to the AIR range so far. We used IFSEC as a platform to launch them and visited a lot of installers in the weeks after the show to demonstrate the quality of the AIR range first hand. You have to see these products to appreciate the quality of them, and many of these demonstrations converted in to sales. We developed the range to be robust, but also easy to install and use. The feedback from installers is that we’ve really hit the mark. We’ve added two higher resolution cameras now in response to customer feedback and we’re confident this will make the AIR cameras even more popular."<br><br>The range was launched at IFSEC 2011 in May, when more than 2,000 UK installers visited the company’s stand. AIR is part of the overall Concept Pro brand, which is exclusive to the West Yorkshire-based distributor. The AIR range comes with a range of features as standard, and all cameras are backed by a five-year warranty.
