Tait’s new TB7100 base station offers affordable installation of high end PMR features, it is claimed.
The mobile radio base station combines voice features and DSP based configurability in a 1U tray, enabling cost-effective installation where rack space is at a premium, according to the makers.
The TB7100 has been designed to deliver maximum flexibility and performance to basic PMR applications; this is achieved by combining hardware sub-assemblies from Tait’s TM8100 range with TB7100 application software and user controls. The new base station brings RF performance and DSP baseband features to a broad range of market sectors where cost was previously a barrier to specifying this level of features, it is claimed.
The TB7100 meets both ETSI EN 300 086 & EN 300 113 and the EIA requirements, ensuring that the base station can coexist with other installations in community based networks, the makers say. The TB7100 is available with two power output levels, the standard 25 W, plus a high-power version rated at 40 W UHF and 50 W on VHF, the manufacturers say.
