The rules of engagement have changed after July 7, reports guarding firm Securiplan.
And that’s reflected in the speakers at the north London-based firm’s three seminars, all at stadiums: Twickenham, west London, on November 29; Murrayfield, Edinburgh, on December 1; and Old Trafford, Manchester on December 7. Speakers include a recent joiner of Securiplan, Paul Keeling, a former Cheshire Police man who served as director of studies at the Home Office’s Crime Prevention College. Also invited to speak is Terry O’Neil, Managing Director of the guarding audit body The Security Watchdog, whose screening arm The Screening Bureau does pre-employment screening for the guard firm. Police speakers invited include Tayside Police Chief Constable John Vine (at Murrayfield) who was in charge of security for the G8 summit in July. Chairing the days is Caroline Demoulpied, Securiplan Group marketing director. After lunch, you can join a tour of each venue.
