Abloy Security has added the Memorilok EASYSET 1 single-door controller to its product range. EASYSET 1 provides many of the features associated with on-line entry systems in a single compact and self-contained unit, the makers report. The product offers menu-driven programming that allows for up to 10,000 users to be logged and their movements to be monitored via a real-time printer, giving users a hard copy of the last 750 events. Besides its read-in and read-out facility, EASYSET 1 provides time-zone programming and a limited opening facility. For extra security, the system features an anti-passback and anti-tailgating facility. The product will drive any locking system within its 220VAC to 250VAC or 13.8VDC operating range, besides working with a range of existing reader technologies. The one-door system is suitable for small to medium sized commercial premises, such as office blocks, where entry in and out of the main door needs to be monitored without the expense associated with on-line systems.
