Dales seminars

by Mark Rowe

Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a series of events for retailers in Derbyshire Dales in the run up to Christmas. These short (two hour) sessions will give retailers a brief overview of retail crime and how to reduce it.

The events are part of Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce’s “BusinessWatch” initiative and will be highlighting the most ‘popular’ items for theft, encouraging retailers to work more effectively with each other and with the police and sharing ‘best practice’ when it comes to preventing shop theft. These events are being supported by the Derbyshire Dales Community Safety Partnership and delivered with Derbyshire Police.

The events are on:
Tuesday 5th November − Ashbourne
Tuesday 12th November − Bakewell
Monday 18th November − Matlock.

These events are free to attend for any retailer in the Derbyshire Dales. For further information and to book a place, email [email protected] or call 01246 212909.
