The product gets its power when the key is inserted into the cylinder. This means that keys are maintenance-free as they do not rely on batteries or external power sources. The developers point to its programmability. Locksmiths can programme the keys upon purchase, allowing for same-day service for customers. This eliminates the wait times associated with custom key creation, particularly of use in an emergency or for customers who require swift access.
As for managing the PULSE, that’s by SaaS web application. This platform allows security and facilities managers to issue new keys, revoke access, and monitor security settings. The digital management system also supports remote access. The product is suitable for a range of applications, according to the manufacturer; for residential properties, commercial buildings, or institutional settings.
