With more than 20 years experience across the sector and since opening its doors in Belfast in March 2009, the company has reported fire and security systems contracts for clients including the University of Ulster, Belfast City Hall, Michelin Tyres and Amey Schools.

Michael MacBean, Business Development Director at Scotshield, said: “It is a great achievement for our Belfast operation to become Gent approved in sales, service and support only three years after opening.

“We’re looking forward to continuing to build our relationship with Gent and are thrilled that we have been recognised for the exceptional service we offer our customers. By using the Gent systems we offer our customers the highest quality, safest alarm and fire systems that we are proud to supply and support.”

And Stuart Brown, Business Manager, Gent by Honeywell, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Scotshield as approved for sales, service and support in Northern Ireland in our Gent 24 network of approved systems integrators. Every company in the network is an independent fire specialist who have been selected, trained and approved based on their extensive capabilities and considerable experience in the fire industry. We have every confidence in the high quality workmanship Scotshield consistently delivers using our products and integrated systems, and are pleased that the company has reached our exceptional high standards of service and support.”
