The intruder alarm manufacturer HKC has announced Pille Murgelj as the new of Head of Buying, and Ian Moore has been promoted to Head of Technical.
Pille, pictured, has over 15 years’ experience within the electronics supply chain, having held management roles with an international electronics manufacturing company. She was also a consultant to a supply chain start-up. She will work on procurement and demand planning processes in the HKC supply chain, handling inventory and relationships with suppliers.
She will be working towards a simplified and standardised supply chain management process, and to bring HKC’s supply chain in-line with the wider ASSA ABLOY Group strategy.
Ian has over 25 years’ experience in the security industry, and joined HKC in 2009 in the technical support team assisting installers. He progressed to Technical Support Team Leader, and his product knowledge and customer support experience eventually led him to be appointed as Product Manager, where he helped shape new product ranges. Most recently, he supported the development of HKC’s 4G-WiFi Communicator, launched in February 2025.
Now, as Head of Technical, Ian will manage HKC’s technical operations, which includes customer support and testing new products. Ian will also be managing communication between other areas of the business.
