Westin Resort & Spa Cancun was the venue for the Suprema Global Partner Program (SGPP) 2025. The event brought together some 198 security partners from North and South America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. The South Korean company unveiled what it terms its innovation-driven strategy and next-generation product lineup.
Guided by the theme “Engraving a New Era of Security,” Suprema said that SGPP 2025 demonstrated the firm’s commitment to redefining industry standards through three pillars—AI, video analytics, and cloud-native architecture. Sessions for attendees were to explore these new technologies, what the firm called the evolution of intelligent security, all supported by open collaboration.
On show was BioStar X, the company’s flagship unified security platform, which combines integrated access control and video intelligence for real-time visibility. The firm also highlighted BioStar Air, a biometric-native cloud-based access control platform, offering the market zero-on-premises, fully cloud-based deployment. Suprema is due to launch an AI-powered Access Control Solution next year.
“Suprema is leading the global security industry into a new era shaped by AI, cloud, and advanced video analytics,” said James Lee, Founder and Chairman of Suprema Inc. “Looking ahead, automation will define the future of AI in security as organizations increasingly rely on intelligent platforms to automate detection, response, and risk management. From next year, this evolution will fundamentally change how security is delivered—enabling partners and customers to respond faster and smarter to evolving threats.”
