DVR draw

by msecadm4921

During IFSEC 2012 Genie CCTV Ltd ran a daily prize draw to win a four-channel Aver Nano Hybrid DVR. Aver’s Nano Series is a hybrid analogue/IP recorder available in four, eight and 16 channel format of which four channels can be configured as IP.

The Nano is supplied with Aver’s central management software enabling simultaneous connection of multiple remote DVRs to a central location. POS (point of sale) integration is also available making the unit suitable the firm says for retail uses. Remote access via the free app is available to download for iPhone, iPad and Android mobile devices.

The draw prize winners met Genie Area Sales Managers to receive their Aver Nano Hybrid DVR.

John Boorman presented the Aver Nano to two winners; Linda Rae Doherty (Purchasing Director) and Clifford Corne (Managing Director) of Secure Engineering accepted their prize saying: “We gratefully receive this Prize from Genie CCTV and will find a suitable project or our own premises to operate and use the Aver Nano Hybrid DVR. We were suitably impressed by Genie’s IFSEC stand and variety of technologies shown at this years event. Having used Genie’s Pixim range of cameras in the past we are now looking forward to building a stronger relationship with Genie and incorporate their products and support in our forthcoming customer presentation days.

The second prize winner John Boorman presented to was Paul Austin, Director of Vindex Systems who said: I am very surprised and pleased to have won this prize from Genie CCTV and not having used the Aver Nano Hybrid DVR will be very interested in putting it to use. My partner Clive Talbot and I visited the Genie IFSEC stand and were impressed with the new HD-SDI (HDcctv) product line up and also the variety of technologies shown on their stand.”

Since Paul and Clive’s visit to the Genie stand, Vindex’s interest has resulted in an order for ten Genie GMC3CHIRW mini IR cameras for a high profile Retailer in London’s Oxford Street, that Vindex Systems required for immediate install.

Brian Milnes presented to Gordon Calvert of GTek Systems and Allison Middleton presented to Anthony Gibson, General Manager at Expo Link Alarms.
