Flir at The Security Event

by Mark Rowe

Flir is among the manufacturers exhibiting at The Security Event (TSE) in Birmingham from Tuesday to Thursday, April 28 to 30. Pictured is the FCB‑Series AI, a thermal camera that pairs the company’s imaging tech with deep‑learning analytics for human and vehicle classification.

Flir says that its multilayered security architecture—combining thermal and visible imaging, radar, and AI‑driven processing—will also be on display. What the firm calls its integrated ecosystem delivers a unified operational picture that supports detection, verification, and response.

Harry Jackman, Director of Security Solutions, EMEA at Flir, part of Teledyne Technologies, said: “Our mission is to give security teams the clarity and confidence they need to act decisively. By bringing FCB‑AI processing together with our thermal heritage and software‑driven orchestration, we’re enabling a new standard of intelligent, scalable perimeter protection.”

Flir adds that its cameras and radar integrate with FLIR United VMS (video management software) and Nexus to create a security workflow. Visit flir.com/security.
