Resource Services Group, which provides outsourcing staff to the private and public sectors in the UK and Ireland, has a major new contract worth £2.5million a year. The contractor has landed a three-year cleaning contract with the London School of Economic and Political Science (LSE). In the region of 150 staff will be provided by Resource as part of the deal, which started in January.
Andy Vaughan, managing director of Resource, said: “We’ve enjoyed a great start to the year by beating off some strong competition from a number of contenders to clinch this highly prestigious contract.
“We were awarded the contract on the quality of the service provision as much as the price and for providing a team that listened to the client and responded with an intelligent solution, undoubtedly a superb result with a prestigious client.”
Allan Blair from the LSE said: “We are delighted to have awarded the contract to Resource. It was clear from the start that Resource was not only able to provide us with an excellent service, but also innovative when it came to providing solutions.”
Resource has offices across the UK, including Savile Row in London, Leeds as well as Ashted Lock at the Birmingham Science Park. Resource is a UK and Ireland support services company, with annual revenues of £100m and a workforce in excess of 6,300 providing reception, cleaning, hygiene, security, car parking and industrial maintenance services.
