The penetration testing carried out with Silver Fox is an essential part of CIS Security’s service delivery and live testing, the London-based guard firm reports. It adds:
The teams and individuals that really have shone across our business are the security teams at Here East, Leadenhall Building and The Bloom Building. We recognised the officers and overall teams that have consecutively high pass marks in deterring and foiling the plans of the auditors. Penetration testing is crucial in physical security and professional guarding as it helps our teams and clients identify weaknesses in their security process, the application of the core and bespoke security needs. It promotes the identification of training opportunities and drives improvement, as necessary. It also promotes positive messages to deter hostile activity and allows for deterrent communications, when the teams engage proactively. With the essential 360 feedback post-test, it drives development for the teams in the current threat environment. It’s far better to have a ‘friendly foe’ exploit any gaps for review, than the alternative.
Our teams highlighted here, have proven that they implement the core security basics to maximum effect, and this is demonstrated time and again throughout the company. We celebrate the consistent delivery of excellence with these teams, who are the top three performing across the CIS portfolio. Pictured below recognising the high standards are from left Neill Catton, CEO of CIS; Tudor Williams, Here East Security Manager; Lynda Moore from FM Contract Watch, which operates the Silver Fox Audit scheme; Ray Marskell, Director of Risk and Intelligence; Joe Easterbrook, Leadenhall Building Security Manager; and Jon Felix Risk and Threat Advisor.
Lynda Moore said: “I am delighted to join CIS Security for the Silver Fox Award presentations to the security teams who have excelled during their penetration audits completed over the past year. The audit is not just preventing unauthorised access, but also a test of the security officer’s knowledge and site documentation. We congratulate all the security officers who passed the audit, especially those who are being recognised here today.”
