TSG gains 9001

by Mark Rowe

The event policing contractor TSG has gained the ISO 9001 business quality certification.

The firm reports that it had to demonstrate its dedication and commitment to meeting customers’ needs, operating efficient management processes and delivering consistent, good quality products and services.

The consultancy QMS oversaw an analysis of the TSG business model, followed by a two stage formal assessment before awarding the company with ISO 9001 certification.

Danny Littlechild, Technical Specialist Consultant at QMS, says: “By achieving ISO 9001 certification, TSG is able to demonstrate to customers and suppliers that the systems it has in place meet the high standards set out by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO). ‘I was very impressed with the TSG management team’s commitment to establishing clear processes from the outset so that all future expansion is controlled and all projects are managed with the same consistency.”

And David Boswell, TSG’s Managing Director, says: “It’s been a real achievement for us to gain this accreditation, to help assure our clients that we take our business, service delivery and development seriously. It underpins our increasing reputation as a leading provider in what we do. Clients can rely on TSG to deliver, knowing that the right procedures have been followed.”

About ISO 9001

Updated in 2015 (as featured in the December 2016 print issue of Professional Security magazine), ISO 9001, briefly, is a quality management system that sets parameters to see certified companies are focused on meeting customer needs and wants. That means management understanding everything from the organisational structure, policies, procedures, process and resources, to setting out who is responsible, and accountable, for what.
