New from the video surveillance and security product company Hanwha Vision is the Factory & Safety AI Pack – AIA-C01FSP. The manufacturer says it’s tailored to the needs of manufacturing and logistics. With intelligent AI powered analytics, this AI pack helps managers address safety, workflows, and compliance with industry standards. AI analytics are performed on the device.
The product combines AI (artificial intelligence) to detect and monitor safety. It provides real-time monitoring of forklift and worker activity, enabling an overview of industrial operations. Forklift speed detection is to see that vehicles operate at safe speeds; audio alerts prompt drivers to show caution. Proximity detection covers the distances between forklifts, and forklifts and people, for site safety. And slip-and-fall detection uses deep learning to identify personnel falling, allowing for a response to injuries. These analytics are customisable and let facilities adapt detection zones, thresholds, and alerts to meet their needs.
Business insights
The developers point also to business intelligence such as heatmaps and queue management. Forklift heatmaps visualise high-traffic areas, enabling operators to adjust layouts and reduce congestion. Queue management tools monitor forklift queues in real-time, ensuring smooth operations and preventing delays. The pack also addresses regulatory requirements, for example, by detecting blocked exit points and notifying staff to remove obstructions.
