Subrosa Group (SRG) has announced ROSA (short for Robotic On-Site Security Assistant). That’s a robotic quadruped developed with NextGen RI, for use in the UK and Ireland. ROSA integrates with Subrosa’s 24/7 Security Operations Centre (SOC). ROSA combines artificial intelligence (AI), sensors, and autonomous mobility to offer security operations indoors and outdoors.
The product is capable of real-time monitoring, threat detection, and autonomous patrolling, the firm says. Niall Burns, CEO of Subrosa Group, said: “The introduction of ROSA represents a significant leap forward in our mission to provide world-class, integrated security solutions. By combining robotics, artificial intelligence, and human expertise within our 24/7 SOC, we are creating a truly proactive and responsive security ecosystem.”
SOC integration
Operating as an extension of Subrosa’s 24/7 Security Operations Centre, ROSA can navigate complex terrains with agility, extending security coverage beyond traditional patrol methods, the developers say. As for threat detection, the product uses high-resolution cameras, thermal imaging, and multi-sensors, to assess risks in real time. It transmits real-time video feeds, alerts, and actionable intelligence to security teams for use in logistics, manufacturing, healthcare and critical infrastructure, the developers suggest.
Deployment
The firm says it’s conducting field trials of ROSA across multiple sites to evaluate its effectiveness in autonomous patrolling and response; and communication with the 24/7 SOC. Those interested in a proof-of-concept trial are invited to contact Subrosa. For video of ROSA in action, visit https://www.subrosagroup.co.uk/services/security/rosa.
