Showcase for integrations

by Mark Rowe

barox is among exhibitors at The Security Event 2026 at the Birmingham NEC where the Ethernet switch manufacturer will display new integrations on its stand, 5/F100, alongside the latest additions to their Ethernet switch line-up.ย  Covering access control, security networks, and network infrastructure, baroxโ€™s integration with (pictured) Gallagher Securityโ€™s site management platform, Command Centre, provides users with monitoring and diagnostics.

Through the integration with Gallagher, system operators can access network management from within Gallagher Command Centre. This includes full network topology visualisation for diagnostics and fault resolution, remote reboot of IP devices and switch ports within the Command Centre interface, SNMP trap alerts, including security and cyber alerts (sent into Command Centre), and automatic discovery and configuration prompts for connected devices.

Other partner integrations on show include those for Genetec, Milestone, Genesys by ISM and the latest addition from barox, Hanwha Vision. For users of Hanwha Visionโ€™s Wisenet WAVE VMS, this new integration brings diagnostics, PoE (Power over Ethernet)ย  management, CPU temperature analysis, and network health monitoring – all presented within a barox intuitive GUI.

For Genetec Security Center users, this barox integration was the first of its kind and one of the manufacturerโ€™s most popular to date. This integration is now installed across a range of security projects and applications. Also on show will be the integration capability with ISM โ€“ Genesys, the NPSA approved, CAPSS certified command and control platform.

The show runs Tuesday to Thursday, April 28 to 30. It’s free to attend by registering beforehand – visit https://www.thesecurityevent.co.uk/.

Rudolf Rohr, barox co-founder and Managing Partner said:โ€œThe operational benefits to be gained from the deployment of barox integrations includes reduced engineering visits to site, lower maintenance support costs, and improved health and safety outcomes.

โ€œShowcasing our advanced integration capabilities and cyber security features, as well as sophisticated network diagnostic tools, visitors to the barox TSE stand will be able to learn why barox switches have become the solution of choice for public space, CNI, utilities, transport hubs, data centres, Government, military, oil and gas and other high security applications.โ€

Sarah Moss, barox Sales Manager UK and Eire said: โ€œWe are really excited to be exhibiting at TSE again this year and particularly looking forward to catching up with all our fabulous clients and partners, who have trusted and supported us to take baroxโ€™s business to new heights across the UK, Eire and beyond. This year marks a significant growth period for barox with both existing and a raft of new technology partnerships set to broaden baroxโ€™s reach exponentially across new International markets and sectors. And watch this space! We have more big news announcements coming in 2026 – which is set to be a landmark year for barox.โ€
