A reference work on the subject, this new third edition has been updated to reflect changes that in the CCTV industry during recent years. The book is 122 pages longer than the previous edition and includes a new chapter to cover the development of IP networking – the combination of
internet and CCTV technologies which now permits transmission of images in real time
anywhere. This edition is in colour, making diagrams and illustrations clearer . Experience with previous editions indicated that the book was frequently used as a quick reference. Therefore the chapter number and title has been added at the bottom of every page to make ‘flipping through’ quicker and easier. The new book has been written and published in association with security systems training provider Tavcom.
The author Mike Constant and Tavcom’s Director of Training Mike Tennent will both be on hand at the Tavcom stand at 2pm on the opening day when they will sign the first 20 copies. To mark the launch the two Mikes report that proceeds from the sale of these first 20 books will be donated to the charity Macmillan Cancer Relief.
