BFT Automation, part of the Somfy Group, has acquired new office space with larger facilities in Swindon.
Based in Edison Park in the Wiltshire town, the new office provides more than 6,000 sq. ft of workspace for staff, a larger training facility for installers attending BFT Training Academy, a demo room, and a welcoming space to host customers and colleagues for workshop sessions, business updates and product showcases. This follows the recent expansion of the company’s warehouse in Stockport, which now also serves as a distribution hub for BFT UK and BFT Nordic orders. The central hub the firm says is part of its strategy to streamline operations, whilst ensuring the continuation of services, such as next-day delivery for its customers. The Swindon office will continue to provide product advice and technical support to customers in the south.
