Bid Estimator | Security Integration Specialist
Location: Fully Remote (with some travel for site surveys) Amsterdam
58,000 Euros + Bonus + £4k/year Car Allowance . 25 days holiday.
Are you a detail-oriented professional with a strong technical background and meticulous analysis? We are recruiting on behalf of a leading security integration specialist seeking a dedicated Bid Estimator to join their dynamic team.
This fully remote role offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of projects ranging from small-scale changes to major project bids.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct site surveys and expand client briefs to create suitable bids.
- Establish and manage standard processes for high-volume bidding.
- Communicate with suppliers and sub-contractors across the globe.
- Lead group-wide bid processes, reporting to the Bid Manager.
- Perform detailed take-offs and measurements for all aspects of security projects.
- Participate in sales meetings to set priorities and maintain bid momentum.
- Oversee formal bid activities and coordinate with the lead salesperson to establish key priorities.
- Collaborate with other entities within the group to create bids for global customers.
Key Skills and Attributes:
- Effective communicator with excellent negotiation skills.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and able to embrace challenges.
- Organised, diligent, and capable of completing assignments efficiently.
- High integrity and a strong sense of urgency.
- Self-starter and strong team collaborator.
- Familiarity with commercial business terms and conditions in the security industry.
Technical Knowledge Required:
Access Control: Strong knowledge of hardware and software configurations.
CCTV: Understanding of both IP and Analogue systems, including network video recorders and software.
Integrated Systems: Experience with major integrated Access Control, CCTV, Intruder, and Perimeter detection systems.
Ideally aware of Milestone, Brivo, Eagle eye, C-cure, Genetec.
Cloud Solutions: Understanding of cloud technology
