The Security Institute reports a collaboration with the UK National Authority for Counter-Eavesdropping (UK NACE). NACE says it’s committed to enhancing security across government and the wider private sector to safely manage the risks facing the UK; and such collaboration is part of NACE’s wider work to engage industry and educate organisations on the risks they face from technical attack.
NACE says it welcomes the important work of Chartered Security Professionals (CSyP) in protecting the UK against the technical security threats posed by malicious actors, at home and overseas. NACE says that it will offer support to CSyP members, sharing insights on risks and vulnerabilities. Meanwhile NACE plans a launch in 2025 of the ‘Protective Security Adviser’ qualification, which is being developed with the UK National Technical Authorities, the UK Government, private sector and academia.
Background
Someone from NACE was the after-dinner speaker at the Chartered Security Professionals’ annual dinner in the City of London last month. The Security Institute manages the CSyP register on behalf of the Worshipful Company of Security Professionals. For more about CSyP, visit https://www.charteredsecurityprofessional.org/.
