The Summer SASIG Masterclass for security professionals will address social networking, its benefits and the security threats, at the Gherkin, 19th floor, 30 St Mary Axe, London, on Friday June 10, 2011.
The one-day session is hosted by CSC and starts at 9.30am.<br><br>The Security Awareness Special Interest Group (SASIG) is planning a discussion on the use and security issues of social networking within organisations. As organisers say, social networking is a growing phenomenon with a huge impact, and many clear benefits, on organisations. However, it also poses a security threat, and the aim of the masterclass is to learn how to embrace it, while developing procedures and educational programmes to minimise the security issues.<br><br>A range of organisations will share their experiences and offer advice.
