Pinkerton in Swedish buy

by Mark Rowe

Pinkerton, the US-based corporate risk management, security consulting and investigations firm, has entered the Swedish market with the strategic acquisition of risk and security consulting services provider Seccredo AB.

Based in Stockholm, Seccredo AB offers crisis management, investigations and studies, and risk management. Clients include private businesses, government agencies, and organizations across a myriad of industries—including manufacturing, energy production, telecom, food, pharmaceuticals, media, real estate, hotels and service companies, as well as banks, securities and insurance companies.

Pinkerton President Jack Zahran said: “As the world continues to become increasingly interconnected, events happening thousands of miles away have the potential to impact business continuity for organizations throughout the U.S. and prevent business leaders from meeting their strategic goals and objectives. Seccredo AB has established a well-deserved reputation for taking decisive action and securing positive results on behalf of clients, and this acquisition will further expand Pinkerton’s global intelligence network and ensure we are proving clients with the most accurate, timely information to help them make the best decisions for their organizations.”
