The life safety and security installation company Amthal Group Companies is 25. Launched in 2000 by close friends John Allam and Paul Rosenthal, Amthal has grown from a St Albans-based, family-run business to a nationwide company with over 85 employed. It delivers design, installation, maintenance, and monitoring by integrating cloud systems, Amthal presents real-time monitoring, remote access and alerts alongside partners.
In 2008, Jamie Allam joined the management as Commercial Director, setting a structured framework to drive Amthal’s growth plans. This has taken in all aspects of the business, from operations to sales and commercial strategy.
Since 2019, a dedicated Senior Management Team has been in place to oversee day-to-day operations, including Managing Director Reece Paprotny, who started his career at the firm as an apprentice.
