The distributor Oprema report their latest partnership with the network and smart security solutions firm, TP-Link. Adding to the security distributor’s portfolio, TP-Link bring their range of networking equipment and CCTV products to Oprema’s customers.
TP-Link offer two product ranges for business: the Omada cloud-managed networking solution, and the VIGI professional surveillance system. Omada by TP-Link delivers a one-stop solution, combining products and services into a unified Software Defined Networking (SDN) platform. By integrating controllers, access points, switches and gateways, Omada enables centralised cloud management. In turn, customers can use a network, controlled through a single interface. Meanwhile, the NDAA-compliant VIGI range is suitable for hotel, retail and other commercial use.
Ben Allcock, VP B2B at TP-Link UK and Ireland, says: “Our goal is to give distribution partners the products and support they need to deliver real value to their customers. By working with Oprema, our Omada and VIGI solutions will empower security-focused partners to keep networks secure and reliable.”
TP-Link’s range is backed up by technical support with OCNA training available for Omada, and the VCSA training course for VIGI. Oprema will soon be making both available to its customers in the Innovation Centre: a new facility based within the distributor’s 106,000 sq ft Newport, south Wales warehouse. Also, Oprema boast stockholding for UK next-day delivery, meaning that their customers will be able to access the full range.
Managing Director at Oprema, Gareth Williams, says: “We’re delighted to be partnering with TP-Link, a globally recognised brand with a reputation for quality and innovation. This partnership strengthens our portfolio and gives our customers access to a proven range of reliable networking solutions, backed by Oprema’s commitment to service and support.”
Oprema adds that it will serve as an all-in-one solutions provider. TP-Link’s products complement CCTV installations, meaning installers will be able to utilise the technology in a variety of end settings, the companies add.
