Fire detection product and fire panel manufacturer Kentec Electronics has appointed Gaurav Arora as General Manager, Product Management and Technical Support. Managing product lifecycles across the firm’s portfolio, Gaurav, pictured, will lead product development. He will direct technical support, customer training and support escalation to turn what’s learned in the field into product improvements, added features and product ideas.
Experience
With 20 years’ experience in the fire and security sectors, Gaurav spent a decade leading commercial and domestic fire detection initiatives involving wireless fire detection and the IoT. He has 15 years of product management experience covering portfolio strategy, partner enablement and post‑market support, as well as five years in customer‑facing sales and business development roles. The appointment comes after a new strategic leadership team at Hochiki Corporation’s International Business Division, led by Kentec Managing Director, Kevin Swann, and the appointment of Frank Tan to lead business development in Asia Pacific.
Kevin Mears is Global Product Manager (EN) and part of Kevin Swann’s global strategy team that aligns Hochiki’s product and technology strategies.
