Director, Security Operations Centre, Securitas UK

by Mark Rowe

Securitas UK has appointed Vicki Beynon as the new Director of its Security Operations Centres. The centres act as UK hubs for Sthe security contractor’s operational teams, including dispatch and alarm receiving. Vicki, pictured, will manage service delivery for customers within the SOCs and business growth. She brings with her over 25 years’ experience spanning B2B, B2C, and government sectors.

Her most recent role was as Business Improvements Director for a Travis Perkins-owned business, while most of her career has been in security, facilities management, and construction. Her background also includes time as an Operations Director within a Fire and Security SME. Vicki spent 13 years in the trading arm of the Foreign Office, delivering security, IT, facilities management, and logistics services to government, police, and defence bodies. She covered roles including Head of Global Britain and Regional Services Director for Europe and Central Asia.

Vicki said: I am thrilled to have joined the UK business. I was drawn to the organisation because of its significant reputation in the security industry and its unique blend of heritage and innovation in its value proposition to the market. In these first few weeks in the role, I have seen that the success of Securitas is embedded in its day-to-day values, as well as significant passion and expertise for the services and solutions we deliver.”

Gary Agnew, Head of Solutions, Securitas UK, described it as a crucial hire, ‘as the Security Operations Centres are the lifeblood of our business’. He said: “Vicki’s role will be instrumental in maintaining leadership across the SOCs, supporting our colleagues on the front line to deliver service excellence, as well as building strong relationships with our important client base in the SOC. Her experience across a broad range of industries will support our continued growth and development across key industry sectors where she can bring a new perspective to Securitas.”
