Cloud-based workforce management for sites

by Mark Rowe

Bull Products, which offers fire protection products for the construction sector, has launched SITEGATE. It’s described as a cloud-based workforce management and access control system.

The SITEGATE Turnstiles, pictured, allow for controlled access to site, for visitors or workers with equipment. These turnstiles work with the new SITEGATE cloud-based platform, which has three core software modules: workforce management, Online Induction, and delivery management. Supplying data about one or networked sites, SITEGATE is wireless and integrates with the product firm’s SITENET and SITEPROTECT ranges of wireless fire detection alarms.

Carl Leeson, Head of Sales at Bull Products, says: “With SITEGATE, organisations can elevate their workforce management practices, enhance operational efficiency, and strengthen security protocols, ultimately driving success and growth. As well as delivering a sophisticated workforce management system, we have carefully considered the needs of our customers before, during and after installation. Introducing SITEGATE to our product portfolio provides our customers with one partner for fire and access control simplifying the purchasing process. It is an integral part of our Fire 360° service, and we are proud to go above and beyond when it comes to customer service.”

Workforce Management and Access Control Business Development Manager, Rob Kemp, adds: “Having been lucky enough to be involved in the latter stages of our solutions development, I am very excited to finally begin speaking to existing and new clients to show what the full system can offer. Due to the impressive reputation that Bull Products holds within the industry, I wanted to ensure that this system matches the high standards the company has, and our clients expect – especially when considering the fact that this system can integrate with the EN 54 certified SITENET range as well as SITEPROTECT.”

SITEGATE can be networked, so users can access data across sites from the platform. The software is permissions based, meaning access can be restricted to data fields, for compliance with data protection. SITEGATE can be customised to a client’s and can include a client’s branding. With the relevant login information, SITEGATE can be accessed anywhere and across multiple sites in the UK, on a configurable dashboard. This allows an induction to be completed before operatives arrive on site, speeding their induction, the product firm adds. Live data can be accessed via login screens and media screens, and users can create zoned areas whereby varying levels of access are required.

As for delivery management, SITEGATE can coordinate delivery calendars and requests and can be built around site-specific opening times. An invitation is sent and returned with delivery details, for example what will be delivered to site and how they are travelling.

SITEGATE Turnstiles, pictured, can be joined together for larger volumes of people; and access control interfaces include facial recognition, RFID cards or QR readers.

The ‘BullPod’, an enclosed full height turnstile with roller shutter, can also be placed anywhere with power, and aids the security and data capture of the site with every turnstile transaction logged, and controlled through the software modules. Bull Products has also introduced the SITEGATE time and attendance board for smaller sites, fit outs, and welfare areas, allowing these sites and zones to also gather the data, such as carbon footprint reporting.
