Smurfit Westrock Security Concepts (SWSC), a provider of high-security printing and identity management solutions, has completed its Intergraf ISO 14298 re-certification audit. This international standard covers standards of security printing management, operations, and compliance with internationally recognised best practices.
The audit was conducted by VPGI, an accredited certification body for the security printing industry, evaluating SWSC across key areas including confidentiality assurance, secure data exchange, regulatory compliance, data protection, internal processes, and organisational security culture.
Intergraf describes its certifications as a benchmark for governments and the security printing industry, providing assurance of management systems designed to combat counterfeiting and protect the integrity of secure printed materials, including vital documents such as ID cards, passports, banknotes and tax stamps.
Peter Thomas, Managing Director at SWSC, said: “Maintaining accreditation to the ISO14298 standard for the past 12 years is a testament to the vigilance, diligence and professionalism of the entire team at Smurfit Westrock Security Concepts. Our continued focus on compliance, quality, and innovation ensures that the company remains a trusted partner in the fight against document fraud and counterfeiting.”
SWSC adds that it remains committed to maintaining ISO14298 certification through surveillance audits and continuous improvement.
