Command Village

by Msecadm4921

Excelerate Technology, a supplier of satellite and wireless-based data, voice and video solutions, is showcasing the first of the new generation of Mobile Incident Response Vehicles (MIRV) for the NHSโ€™s Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) initiative on stand VZ5 at the Emergency Services Show.

It’s running at Stoneleigh in Warwickshire on November 28 and 29. The stand will be hosted by Excelerate Technology along with its coachbuilder partner for the contract, WH Bence and the NHS Health Department to demonstrate the results of a collaboration to produce an incident response unit.

The first HART vehicles will be deployed by West Midlands, West Yorkshire and North West NHS Ambulance Trusts and are equipped with some of voice, data and video technologies. This includes mobile satellite technology that enables a suite of applications to be fully deployed within four minutes of arriving at serious incidents such as CBRN and HAZMAT, as well as others requiring category โ€˜Aโ€™ response regardless of location.

Excelerate Technology will also be demonstrating a number of other recently completed vehicles on the stand that will enable visitors to see what a multi-agency command village might look like at a large scale incident and how interoperability can be effectively delivered. They will feature a range technologies including the latest COFDM-based dual thermal CCTV systems.
