Genie CCTV Ltd has launched the LG LE3108D eight channel and LE3116D 16 channel pentaplex DVRs.
The DVRs are capable of simultaneous live recording, playback, network and backup. The LG branded DVRs boast 400FPS real time recording, a pentaplex feature which supports simultaneous operation of live monitoring, playback, recording, networking and archiving. The MPEG4 compression on the DVRs allows it to achieve maximum recording efficiency for the available hard disk drive. The DVR supports 3Tb internal storage on high quality SATA hard drives. Additionally, the new LG DVR features an integral multi-format DVD Re-Writer, network compatibility, four USB ports, four audio channels, motion detection, multi-site remote client software, IR Remote, Mouse and many other useful features. The recording function can be programmed for continuous, alarm or motion recording. These recordings can be scheduled to start and stop and different parts of the day to suit a userโs wishes.
