The Government has made available a great deal of money, it says, over recent years to help reduce crime, both to Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnerships and to voluntary and community groups.
This has been achieved primarily through a series of topic-related funds each aimed a specific crime type (such as burglary) or a specific crime solution (for example CCTV). More recently there’s been a move toward merging these streams.
There’s an official website that brings together information on where you can apply for funding for crime reductions schemes.
