Norbain to distribute HIKVision

by Roy

Continuing an OEM trading relationship of many years, Norbain and Hikvision have now reached an agreement to work together to offer customers in the UK and Ireland the Hikvision brand.

Hikvision is a leading supplier of video surveillance products and solutions. The company’s complete product suite includes Smart IP cameras, HD analogue cameras, speed domes, NVRs, DVRs, video management software and other elements of sophisticated security systems.

As the leading distributor of security products in the UK, Norbain aims to provide customers with the widest range of solutions to ensure that their requirements are met. Now a significant player in the market, Hikvision is looking to increase its presence in the UK and is committed to providing the levels of quality and service for which Norbain is known.

Customers will benefit from Hikvision now being a part of Norbain’s renowned logistics capabilities, as well as the high levels of pre- and post-sales support that customers currently enjoy.

Mark Field, Supplier Relations Director for Norbain, comments: “Norbain has always been committed to providing the market with a wide range of solutions, backed up by service offerings that add real value for our customers. Hikvision is a great addition to our portfolio and allows us to continue to advise and support installers and integrators in providing the best possible solutions to meet their customers’ requirements.”

The full launch will take place in the first week of August and will be backed by substantial stock currently en-route from Hikvision’s 420,000sqm facility. In the meantime, Norbain will be preparing to fully support the brand with internal training and product familiarisation for all sales and technical support staff.
